Quarterly Council Meeting

Regular meetings of the Ordinance Committee begin at 12:30 p.m. (Pacific Time). Regular meetings of the Finance Committee begin at 12:30 p.m. The regular City Council meeting begins at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. Special Meeting times can vary, so please check posted times on the Agenda.

The Short-Term Rental (STR) Ordinance has been certified by the City of Granicus and is now effective for inland and coastal properties.

The STR update edits requires operators and guests to comply with the Good Neighbor Policy and provides provisions for ensuring compliance with the operational requirements of the GNP. An additional code enforcement officer has been hired to assist with STR program enforcement, including responding to complaints and violations attributed to STR properties.

The STR Ordinance requires operators and guests to comply with the Good Neighbor Policy and provides provisions for ensuring compliance with the operational requirements of the GNP. An additional code enforcement officer has been hired to assist with STR program enforcement, including responding to complaints and violations attributed to STR properties.

City staff will continue to monitor the number and location of STRs as well as the number of complaints attributed to STRs and will provide quarterly updates to the City Council. The first quarterly updates was provided to City Council on October 3, 2019, and the second update was provided on February 20, 2020.
