We ❤️ our public! Refrain from calling and stopping by our office to inquire about the COVID Vaccine. 

Instead, we ask that you schedule your vaccine if at least 70 years of age AND a resident of AcmeCounty, OH. If no dates are available when you try to schedule, please check back regularly as more dates will continue to be added as the vaccine becomes available. In addition, we encourage you to visit other vaccine providers to schedule your appointment.  

Senior citizens and persons with disabilities needing assistance can also call the Area Agency on Aging Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm dial 1-800-xxx-xxxx.

Our partners at the Marietta/Belpre Health Department are also administering the vaccine. They have a call center open Monday through Saturday from the hours of 9 am to 7 pm Dial 1-866-xxx-xxxx to schedule.

Our partners at the Memorial Health System are also administering the vaccine. Sign up for an appointment time by calling 1-844-xxx-xxxx.

The Short-Term Rental (STR) Ordinance has been certified by the City of Granicus and is now effective for inland and coastal properties.

The STR update edits requires operators and guests to comply with the Good Neighbor Policy and provides provisions for ensuring compliance with the operational requirements of the GNP. An additional code enforcement officer has been hired to assist with STR program enforcement, including responding to complaints and violations attributed to STR properties.

The STR Ordinance requires operators and guests to comply with the Good Neighbor Policy and provides provisions for ensuring compliance with the operational requirements of the GNP. An additional code enforcement officer has been hired to assist with STR program enforcement, including responding to complaints and violations attributed to STR properties.

City staff will continue to monitor the number and location of STRs as well as the number of complaints attributed to STRs and will provide quarterly updates to the City Council. The first quarterly updates was provided to City Council on October 3, 2019, and the second update was provided on February 20, 2020.
